After a woefully wet opening day at the Great Yorkshire Show, the weather has improved a bit! OK it’s not bright sunshine, but at least it’s bright’ish and the crowds are out and enjoying sampling the alfresco food & drink on offer.
Aside from the excellent Birds Eye Chicken Dippers & Meat-free Burgers served up by Chef Callum plus the Birds Eye Steamfresh Creamy Cheese Pasta & Mushroom Tagliatelle, Callum was also demonstrating better BBQ techniques on the Blackstone Griddles, really proving that you can cook anything, anywhere, anytime!
And if this wasn’t enough visitors were washing this down with the outstanding La Vieille Ferme Rose, which was a really firm favourite, plus the Rouge & Blanc. To accompany people were also trying Jacob’s Ceddars, Mediterranean Rosemary Crackers & Sour Cream & Chives Savours. And of course not forgetting Sarson’s Dip & Drizzle!
