Our sister campaign, National BBQ Week, began its series of RoadShow visits at the Devon County Show in Exeter. A great show and we were expecting equally great weather, but boy, were we wrong! Rather than wall to wall sunshine, we got really torrential continual rain instead. So much so that on the first day, it rained so hard that the roads on the Show-ground actually turned into rivers!
Luckily though it did stop raining occasionally and the RoadShow was really busy delivering thousands of BBQ food & drink samples from the brilliant Barbi brands who supported the event.
So the weather didn’t pu-off the crowds off, in fact they’re a pretty hardy lot down in the West Country an just kept coming for more!
Rain, rain, go away, come again another day, but not on one of our RoadShow days!
